Without question, God sent us this company... the owner, Norman Stewart has been a friend of ours since 1996 when we did Landmark Education together.  What a caring, professional that employs such kind, loving professional caregivers!  The one that our dad liked the best, stayed with him until the very end and treated him like he was her own grandfather. I have spent the last few years trying to get quality, reliable care for my mother. It has been an enormous challenge. Either the caregivers have been unreliable, uncaring, or inattentive or the management has been difficult to deal with. I had pretty much resigned myself to thinking it was a futile effort to find a good company until I started dealing with Goldstar. GoldStar has provided care for my mother, 94 years old, for over 4 years. Never once have we had a single problem or complaint. At the start, If we didn’t like a caregiver they were promptly replaced with another and we have now had the same 2 wonderful ladies caring for mom for 4 years. When one goes away on vacation the other covers for her. We are never asked to have a stranger care for mom. Norman and Dawn have always been very helpful and responsive to all of our needs. I’ve been with Goldstar for over 2 years.  We started with 24 hour care but now have 12 hours a day care.  One of our caregivers has been with us for 2 years.  I have no worries about leaving my husband with them when I have to work or run errands. They know exactly how to care for people who have had a stroke and are wheelchair bound. Goldstar Home Healthcare has provided excellent assistance with Mauline Dixon and Sasha McFarland to help with ADL's of  the client. They have assisted with light chores around the house, cooking and other activities such walking with the client. They have been an asset for going to doctors appointments.
